Key Responsibilities
- check_circleServe as Range Safety expert during flight tests, working groups, and functionality testing
- check_circleRepresent customer interests in working groups, forums, and technical interchange meetings
- check_circleAnalyze and resolve complex range safety and flight safety problems independently or leading teams
- check_circleManage Government Furnished Equipment and Contractor Furnished Equipment hardware and software development
- check_circleConduct acceptance, qualification, integration, and checkout of flight termination system products
- check_circlePrepare summary and detailed reports to document status, findings, and recommendations
- check_circleOversee requirements development, allocation, and verification for flight termination systems
Requirements
- verifiedMaster's degree and 12+ years missile defense/DoD program experience OR Bachelor's degree and 20+ years experience
- verifiedActive Secret clearance
- verifiedWorking knowledge of Range Safety Requirements
- verifiedFamiliarity with flight safety analysis and analysis products
- verifiedProficiency in Range Tracking Systems (inertial measurement, GPS, C-band tracking)
- verifiedProficiency with RCC-319 Flight Termination Commonality Standard and RCC-324 Global Positioning and Inertial Measurements Range Safety Tracking Systems Commonality Standard
- verifiedU.S. person status under ITAR/EAR (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
Nice to Have
Familiarity with autonomous flight termination systems. Flight Test Range Safety experience. Background in batteries, RF systems, ordnance and ordnance devices, antennas. 10+ years of experience in defense and aerospace.
