About the Role
This position is more than a career; it is a calling. As a Radiology Student, you will provide essential X-Ray services to patients while operating within your student scope of practice. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience under the direct supervision of experienced technologists and physicians.
In this position, you will prepare and position patients, select exposure factors, and assist in a variety of imaging procedures. You will also help prepare and administer contrast media and medications in compliance with state and federal regulations. Your presence contributes to maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department, ensuring that procedure rooms and storage areas are ready for patient care. You will work in a constant state of alertness, prioritizing safety and radiation protection standards at all times.
Hiring Process
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited radiology school. No prior professional experience is required, as the focus is on learning and development within the student scope of practice. Successful candidates will need to hold a Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association.
