About the Role
As a Registered Radiologic Technologist, you will perform specialized technical duties under the general supervision of Diagnostic Imaging Management. Working independently, you will set up radiography equipment, position patients, and acquire diagnostic radiographs to aid in the detection and evaluation of pathology across various settings, including surgery and portable x-ray environments.

Clinic Radiologic Technologist Specifics
In the clinic setting, your role expands to include general medical receptionist duties. You will ensure accurate patient registration, verify insurance, and order diagnostic exams. You will collaborate closely with patients and their families to receive and collect laboratory specimens for analysis, including performing phlebotomy. Additionally, you will maintain a work environment where equipment and supplies are always stocked and ready for use.

Requirements

Nice to Have
Two-year allied health degree. A second advanced modality registry. American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB) Phlebotomy Technician (PBT) or similar certification. Two years of experience as an ARRT registered radiologic technologist. Two weeks of phlebotomy training/experience (arterial, capillary, and venous). Two weeks of patient registration/reception experience.
