About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Interventional Radiologic Technologist for a 14-week contract opportunity at an acute care hospital in Syracuse, NY. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in fast-paced procedural environments, specifically supporting Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab procedures.
In this position, you will be an integral part of the medical team, working directly under radiologist direction to perform complex imaging procedures. Your day will involve preparing and positioning patients, operating advanced interventional imaging equipment, and assisting physicians during critical cases. You will ensure high-quality diagnostic images are captured while maintaining strict radiation safety and patient protection standards. The role requires strong communication skills to explain procedures clearly and provide patient reassurance, as well as the ability to monitor patient conditions throughout exams.
