This position is accountable for the proficient operations of radiographic and CT equipment to provide clinically diagnostic images as directed by physicians. You will perform various radiology procedures accurately and efficiently according to established standards and protocols. The role involves initiating proper intervention when an exam indicates immediate attention and reviewing exam indications to ensure appropriateness.
You will serve as a vital link in the diagnostic process by providing complete and accurate exam data for radiologist interpretation, utilizing systems such as PACS, RIS, and EMR. The role also includes archiving image data, managing backups, and assisting with the analysis and maintenance of records to meet standards set by the Joint Commission, OSHA, and other regulatory bodies. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring staff and students during on-the-job training and clinical rotations.
