About the Role

The Quality Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the overall quality of products throughout the entire lifecycle, from ordering and receiving to manufacturing, storage, packaging, and sale. This position is designed to maintain the high standards required in our FAA-approved repair station and manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will be the guardian of quality, performing tasks defined in specific inspection plans to ensure all products sourced and delivered are built to type design data. You will work within a structured, compliance-driven setting, interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to verify functional operations and ensure compliance with FAA-approved procedures. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards, preventing quality escapes, and supporting on-time production and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circlePerform inspection duties using engineering drawings, work instructions, and QA procedures

Requirements

  • verifiedHigh School degree or GED
  • verifiedOne year quality inspection experience or two years aerospace manufacturing experience
  • verifiedBasic math and computer skills
  • verifiedBasic understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and inspection instructions
  • verifiedAbility to use standard measuring tools and inspection equipment
  • verifiedFamiliarity with quality control procedures and documentation practices

Nice to Have

Prior experience in a Quality Control role, preferably in aviation, aerospace, or manufacturing. Familiarity with FAA regulations and standards, including Part 145 Repair Station procedures. Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAI) and Conformity Inspections. Working knowledge of quality standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar. Experience using an ERP or Quality Management System (Quantum Control or equivalent). Basic understanding of continuous improvement practices.
