As a Quality Engineer (Internal), you will serve as a critical partner to Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams. Your primary mission is to ensure our internal quality requirements and goals are met while driving customer quality and resolving complex problems. You will provide leadership for continuous improvement activities within specific manufacturing departments, fostering a culture of learning and efficiency.
In this role, you will champion the transition from paper-based record keeping to digital inspection data systems. You will lead internal meetings to drive corrective actions, facilitate training on quality initiatives, and ensure conformance to IATF 16949 standards through rigorous layered process audits. Your work will directly impact the elimination of production deficiencies and the implementation of cost-saving preventative actions.
The role involves working in a manufacturing environment where employees may occasionally encounter wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, or risks of electrical shock.
