The Quality Control Department at Partner Therapeutics is the guardian of patient safety and product quality for Leukine. Our team is responsible for all testing related to the manufacturing and release of the drug, covering raw materials, process intermediates, Drug Substance (DS), and Drug Product (DP). Beyond laboratory analysis, we oversee all contract laboratory testing and manage the microbiological control of facility and utility systems to ensure the manufacturing environment remains compliant and safe.
As a Quality Control Associate II, you will be a vital partner in ensuring Leukine consistently meets pre-defined standards. Approximately 75% of your time will be dedicated to hands-on laboratory testing, where you will perform release and stability testing according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will also engage in peer reviews of complex assay documentation, participate in the qualification of critical reagents, and lead method qualification activities to support the product lifecycle.
The remaining 25% of your role focuses on compliance and continuous improvement. You will investigate deviations, determine root causes, and propose corrective actions while maintaining strict adherence to cGMP, OSHA, and internal safety protocols. This is a highly collaborative position requiring you to work across multiple functions, train staff on new techniques, and proactively identify roadblocks to keep the testing process efficient and accurate.
