About the Role

As a Python Principal Architect, you will serve as the technical anchor for our platform, bridging the gap between high-level strategy and production-grade execution. This role exists to define the technical blueprints for our next-generation AI products, ensuring that our systems are not only scalable and robust but also capable of evolving with the rapidly shifting AI landscape.

You will be responsible for designing end-to-end architectures that span from data ingestion and embedding pipelines through to response generation and production monitoring. Beyond high-level design, this is a hands-on position where you will write production-quality Python and SQL code, build reusable framework components, and own the CI/CD pipelines that power our AI services. Your work will directly accelerate team velocity by establishing engineering standards, creating reference architectures, and embedding best practices across the organization.

In this capacity, you will act as a senior technical reviewer and mentor, providing deep, opinionated feedback on designs and pairing with engineers to solve complex problems. You will also drive internal AI upskilling initiatives to keep the team sharp on emerging tools like agentic frameworks and fine-tuning techniques. A critical part of your mission involves translating complex technical trade-offs into clear business impact narratives for non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment between product direction, data constraints, and infrastructure capabilities.
