About the Role

As a Purchasing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our commitment to building zero-defect homes, managing costs, and adhering to strict schedules. You will be responsible for developing, negotiating, and executing division sourcing agreements for specific spend categories, ensuring Lennar has top-quality trade partners for all production needs.
Your day-to-day involves sourcing, contracting, and onboarding new trade partners while conducting audits to assess quality and schedule adherence. You will travel to sites to evaluate performance and communicate directly with the Director of Purchasing. Beyond vendor management, you will implement material sourcing strategies to optimize supply chain flow, facilitate value-engineering sessions, and develop should-cost models to drive cost optimization. This role requires proactive communication with division associates and the ability to benchmark sourcing practices to maintain industry-leading standards.
