About the Role

This Purchasing Manager role is a career with purpose, built on making dreams come true through cost management and strict adherence to schedules. You will be responsible for developing, negotiating, and executing division sourcing agreements for specific spend categories. Your mission is to ensure Lennar has top-quality trade partners for production needs, focusing on quality, scheduling adherence, and pricing.

In this position, you will act as a strategic partner to the team, conducting trade partner audits, sourcing and onboarding new partners, and implementing material sourcing strategies to optimize supply chain flow. You will facilitate value-engineering sessions, develop should-cost models for cost estimation, and monitor divisional cost per square foot. By staying updated on industry trends and communicating proactively with division associates, you will help benchmark sourcing practices and validate pricing for Extra Purchase Orders (EPOs). This role requires traveling to sites to assess and communicate trade partner performance directly to the Director of Purchasing.
