About the Team
CHI Health Clinic, a member of CommonSpirit Health™, is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving Central Nebraska. We are seeking a Dual Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care physician to join our established multispecialty practice in Grand Island. Our team fosters a collaborative environment, connecting providers from Omaha to Kearney, and working closely with an independent oncology group to ensure comprehensive patient care.
About the Role
This position offers a unique balance between Pulmonary and Critical Care, allowing you to provide both outpatient services in the clinic and inpatient care at CHI Health St. Francis. You will operate within a Level III Trauma Center and a 153-bed facility featuring a 16-bed open ICU with eICU support after hours. The role includes a full scope of procedures such as EBUS and PFTs, supported by a robust Hospitalist team and an excellent Respiratory Therapy department with a sleep lab.
We utilize EPIC EMR across both clinic and hospital settings and maintain an academic affiliation with Creighton University School of Medicine. New graduates and J1/H1B Visa candidates are welcome to apply. Additionally, candidates interested in Sleep Medicine certification are encouraged to apply.
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce a brand new state-of-the-art clinic facility opening in 2026. This new multispecialty home will house several specialties and Primary Care, further enhancing collaboration among the entire care team.
