The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join its Wellness faculty. Reporting to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Campus Wellness, this role serves as a strategic partner in fostering a healthy environment across the Colleges of Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health, as well as other UNMC and UNO units.
This position is designed to bridge clinical care, education, and research. You will assess wellness needs and deliver proactive, preventative educational outreach on stress management to students, residents, faculty, staff, and patients. A key component of the role involves planning and interpreting the annual campus wellbeing survey to guide corporate wellbeing initiatives. Additionally, you will maintain a comprehensive catalog of wellness activities and collaborate with a research team to investigate the health effects of stress and interventions on healthcare trainees and providers.
Beyond these systemic initiatives, the role includes providing individual and group psychotherapy to patients in a clinical setting. The position operates within both office and clinical environments, requiring interaction with outpatients and the handling of standard clinical materials.
