About the Role

As a Psychiatry Account Manager, you will lead the promotion of our psychiatry portfolio within the Queens, NY territory. This role involves executing sales and marketing strategies with comprehensive clinical knowledge to drive sales performance. You will navigate the toughest commercialization challenges in today's rapidly changing environment, partnering with customers to uncover unique opportunities and drive changes in behavior.

Your day-to-day involves building and maintaining productive internal and external relationships, utilizing digital tools and data-based insights to develop strategy, and staying informed on reimbursement dynamics to address payer access issues. You will serve as a local market and therapeutic area expert, mapping account linkages and applying deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical and regulatory environment to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and Lundbeck policies.

Territory & Logistics

The primary territory covers all of Queens, NY, as well as the Great Neck portion of Nassau County, NY. We consider candidates who live within 40 miles of these territory boundaries, provided they have access to a major airport. This role requires a valid driver's license and involves domestic travel up to 30-40% to meet with customers, internal personnel, and attend conferences.

Requirements

  • verifiedBachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree
  • verified2+ years pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience

Nice to Have

Previous experience within a specialty product sales force. Prior experience promoting and detailing products specific to CNS/neuroscience including depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. Documented successful sales performance. Ownership and accountability for the development and execution of fully integrated account plans. Strong analytical background and experience using sales data reporting tools to identify trends. Experience in product launches. Previous experience working with alliance partners (i.e., co-promotions). Strong leadership through participation in committees, job rotations, panels, and related activities.
