As a Psychiatry Account Manager, you will lead the promotion of our psychiatry portfolio in the Queens, NY territory. This role exists to execute sales and marketing strategies with comprehensive clinical knowledge, driving sales performance in a rapidly changing environment. You will partner with customers to deliver clear, compelling messages, probe needs, and close calls with a commitment to action that drives changes in behavior.
Your day will involve using digital tools and data-based insights to create opportunities, develop strategy, and allocate resources to enhance sales execution. You will build and maintain productive internal and external relationships, incorporating "total office" account management. A key part of your mission is to stay informed on reimbursement dynamics and effectively address payer access issues using Lundbeck resources. You will also gather and validate key market trends to uncover and prioritize unique opportunities within the territory.
The territory covers all of Queens, NY, as well as the Great Neck portion of Nassau County, NY. We welcome candidates who live within 40 miles of these boundaries and have access to a major airport. This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to travel up to 30-40% domestically to meet with customers, internal personnel, and attend conferences.

Previous experience within a specialty product sales force. Prior experience promoting and detailing products specific to CNS/neuroscience including depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. Documented successful sales performance. Ownership and accountability for the development and execution of fully integrated account plans. Strong analytical background and experience using sales data reporting tools to identify trends. Experience in product launches. Previous experience working with alliance partners (i.e., co-promotions). Strong leadership through participation in committees, job rotations, panels, and related activities.
