The Behavioral Health Program offers a comprehensive continuum of care, ranging from ambulatory adult and child mental health programs and on-site school initiatives to partial hospitalization, chemical dependency services, inpatient units, and mobile crisis teams. The department actively collaborates with numerous schools to provide training programs in psychology, nursing, and medicine, while fostering a collegial environment through weekly Grand Rounds for continuing medical education.
We are seeking full-time Psychiatrists to join our multidisciplinary team within the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) and our outpatient adult mental health clinic. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a supportive setting. Positions include covering the psychiatric emergency room with flexible hours or staffing the outpatient clinic. The schedule is Monday through Friday with no call responsibilities. For eligible candidates, academic appointments at the Icahn School of Medicine are available, and opportunities for paid moonlighting shifts (including nights and weekends) exist.
