This 26–52 week contract opportunity supports the nutrition services team in delivering high-quality patient care. As a Dietetic Technician, you will serve as a vital partner to registered dietitians, ensuring that therapeutic diet orders are accurately implemented and that patients receive appropriate nutrition education and monitoring.
Your day-to-day involves operating CBORD to generate and organize meal tickets, with a specific focus on highlighting special diet and allergy requirements. You will assist in menu reviews, conduct meal accuracy checks, and participate in quality assurance initiatives. Additionally, you will support dietitians by performing screenings, collecting data, and monitoring patient intake and tolerance to ensure care plans are effectively executed.
To be considered for this assignment, candidates must hold an Associate degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field, along with DTR/NDTR certification (or eligibility) and a valid state license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
