Bon Secours is a faith-based, patient-focused organization dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of all people in mind, body, and spirit through exceptional care. Our mission is driven by a culture of compassion, collaboration, excellence, and respect. We seek individuals committed to our core values of compassion, human dignity, integrity, service, and stewardship to create an environment where associates thrive and communities flourish.
As a Protective Services Officer at St. Mary's Hospital, you will serve as a vital guardian of our facilities, ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff. This role is essential to maintaining a secure environment where healing can occur without fear. You will be assigned to a specific area, responding to radio and telephone calls for both routine and emergency assistance.
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of proactive and reactive duties. You will patrol hospital grounds, including parking lots and decks, to deter criminal activity and enforce policies regarding parking, visitation, and substance use. By monitoring closed-circuit television systems, you will stay alert to escalating situations, ready to intervene in confrontations or coordinate with law enforcement when necessary. Documentation is a key part of your workflow, requiring accurate completion of daily activity logs and incident reports.
Interested candidates are encouraged to apply directly. The selection process typically includes a review of qualifications, followed by an interview to assess fit with our mission and values. Specific details regarding interview stages will be communicated by the Talent Acquisition Team upon application submission.
