About the Role

As a Field Property Adjuster, you will be dedicated to providing exceptional service to our policyholders. Your primary responsibility involves traveling to customers' homes to conduct on-site inspections, investigate coverage, prepare estimates, and settle claims promptly and efficiently. You will also handle virtual claims countrywide, leveraging various platforms to ensure customers receive the highest level of support and resolution, particularly for water losses.

In this role, you will wear multiple hats: acting as a compassionate Customer Service Expert who leads with empathy; a confident Investigator who independently reviews damage and interprets policies; an Effective Communicator who tailors interactions to customer preferences; a skilled Negotiator who handles complex situations with vendors and third parties; a Problem Solver who utilizes critical thinking in a fast-paced environment; and a meticulous Recorder who ensures accurate documentation to protect the company financially.

Training and Onboarding

You are provided with comprehensive training designed to help you build a claims foundation and understand the systems and processes in your day-to-day work. Ongoing training opportunities for continuous improvement happen regularly on the job. Please note that you will be required to attend two weeks of training that will take place in Dallas, TX.

Licensing and Compensation

As a condition of employment, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and/or an appraiser license, including passing an additional background check with the Department of Labor. If applicable, you will be required to secure license(s) within 60 days of hire. The Hiring Manager will work with you and the Centralized Licensing team to ensure you are properly licensed.

You may be eligible for a $1,000 Licensing Sign-On Bonus if you have the applicable active licenses needed for this role. Additionally, based on Company Car Guidelines, this role may qualify for a company car depending on annual work mileage. If guidelines are not met, you may be required to use your personal vehicle with mileage reimbursements provided.
