This Project Surveyor position provides vital, flexible support to the Geomatics team. Operating on an "as needed" basis, the role requires a candidate who can step in seamlessly to complete project production and oversight. There are no guaranteed weekly hours; the schedule is determined based on department needs and the employee's availability.
You will be responsible for the technical and professional production of survey projects, ensuring quality (accuracy, thoroughness, clarity, and regulatory compliance), meeting schedules, staying within budgets, and providing responsive service to clients. Your day will involve organizing technical production, directing field work, performing quality control checks, and coordinating with project managers and field crews to ensure all details are covered.
