The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) operates one of the largest community college systems in the country, managing billions in bond-funded capital projects across nine campuses. The district is currently modernizing from a legacy PMIS platform (Proliance) to Trimble Unity Construct (eBuilder), integrating it with Deltek Costpoint for enterprise accounting and financial controls.
As a Technology Project Manager, you will serve as the Owner's Representative leading this transformation end-to-end. This role goes beyond a standard IT implementation; it is a business transformation where financial accuracy, audit readiness, and operational transparency are non-negotiable. You will act as the strategic liaison between executive leadership, the PMO, IT, Finance, Facilities, consultants, contractors, and all nine campuses. You will own the plan, the risk, and the outcome, driving migration planning, system configuration, financial workflow redesign, data validation, testing, and training for over 800 users.
MAAS has spent nearly 40 years earning the trust of 50+ educational institutions across California, managing over $10B in projects. This track record ensures that the work here is stable, funded, and consequential—you are not chasing the next contract.
As a MAAS employee, you are also an owner. The company is 100% employee-owned through an ESOP, a retirement benefit provided at no cost to you on top of your salary. MAAS is a profitable, well-run organization where the share price has more than doubled since the plan's inception, with continued growth year over year. Your ownership stake builds the longer you stay, and ESOP participants nationally tend to accumulate 2.5x more in retirement savings than employees at non-ESOP companies.
In an industry not known for prioritizing culture, 96% of MAAS employees say it's a great place to work, and 100% say people genuinely care about each other. That's not a perk; it's how the company runs.
