This position serves as the central leader for electrical projects, guiding them from initial startup through to final close-out. The role is dedicated to achieving predetermined objectives regarding scope, cost, time, quality, and participant satisfaction by managing data and material resources throughout the project lifecycle. As a safety-sensitive position, it requires the employee's full and unimpaired skills and judgment to safely execute all responsibilities, ensuring tasks do not affect the safety or health of the employee or others.
You will act as the primary point of contact for project strategy, scheduling, and communication. Your day involves preparing and enforcing project schedules, managing subcontracts, and negotiating purchase orders to keep the project on track. You will oversee the entire documentation process, including shop drawings, as-builts, O&M manuals, and monthly billings. A key part of your mission is to proactively resolve disputes, manage change orders, and provide value engineering to satisfy client needs while ensuring all installations are neat, workmanlike, and compliant with applicable code standards.
Safety is paramount in this role. You are responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring strict compliance with OSHA and Ludvik safety standards. This includes supervising the training of field employees for special systems or techniques and enforcing all Ludvik policies and procedures. You will also manage material resources, including jobsite tools and equipment, to support a safe and efficient workflow.
In this capacity, you will provide leadership by setting examples and standards for the team. You are responsible for the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator, Superintendent, Supervisor, and Foreman. Your leadership extends to hiring, transferring, or dismissing electricians as required to maintain workforce continuity, as well as conducting performance reviews of support staff. You will also solicit additional electrical scope to existing contracts and manage daily affairs to ensure the project stays on budget and on schedule.
We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
