The Project Manager for Early Phase (EP) serves as the strategic bridge between Parexel and our sponsors, leading cross-functional teams to deliver tailored clinical research solutions. This position is designed for a professional who combines deep clinical research experience with agile project management skills to drive operational excellence. You will be the central point of contact for sponsors, responsible for navigating complex project landscapes and making informed, independent decisions that ensure trials are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards compliant with ICH and GCP regulations.
In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of early phase clinical programs, from pre-award strategy and bid defense through to project close-out. Your day-to-day involves orchestrating study start-up activities, overseeing site selection, and managing financial aspects such as revenue recognition and milestone payments. Beyond execution, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying risks, implementing contingency plans, and contributing to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while mentoring Associate PMs and Project Assistants.
This is a home-based role with a strong preference for candidates located in California, Colorado, or Texas. The position requires the ability to lead virtual teams across different locations and cultures, ensuring seamless collaboration regardless of physical distance.
