The Project Manager for Early Phase (EP) serves as the strategic bridge between Parexel and our sponsors, leading teams to develop tailored solutions for clinical research programs. Based in a home-based environment with a preference for California, Colorado, or Texas, this role demands a deep understanding of business dynamics and the flexibility to make informed, independent decisions. You will ensure operational excellence and the successful execution of clinical operations and logistical strategies for EP trials, acting as the central point of contact for functional teams and sponsors.
Your mission is to drive projects to completion on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards, fully compliant with ICH, GCP, and applicable regulations. Beyond execution, you will manage the financial health of projects, overseeing revenue recognition, milestone payments, and pass-through invoices while ensuring strict adherence to SOPs and contract terms.
You will own the sponsor relationship, proactively communicating progress, risks, and solutions to keep stakeholders aligned. Your day involves leading regular meetings to ensure objectives are met, from pre-award strategy and bid defenses to study start-up and site selection. As the project moves into implementation, you will monitor timelines, recruitment, and data cleaning, while preparing for audits and managing budgets. The role culminates in overseeing administrative close-out procedures and leading end-of-study meetings to document lessons learned. You will also contribute to SOP development and provide oversight to Associate PMs and Project Assistants.
