Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Office of Information Technology (OIT) within the Department. In this capacity, you will serve as a vital link between the IT community and senior business leadership, ensuring that technology initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Your primary mission is to establish and implement robust project management processes that drive stability and success across complex, multi-technology work efforts. You will work closely with Program Managers and senior management to identify strategic opportunities where IT can achieve enterprise goals, while managing the day-to-day coordination, resource allocation, and risk mitigation required to keep projects on track.

Work Environment

This is a contract position based in Tallahassee, Florida. The role requires a hybrid work model, with the ability to work both on-site and through authorized telework. You will be expected to adhere to standard business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

verifiedFour (4) or more years managing projects
verifiedExperience with projects in multiple technologies and functions
verifiedExcellent communication and documentation skills in the English language
