This position serves as a pivotal bridge within the Pre-Construction (Early Stage) group, assisting in the overall management of assigned Solar projects to ensure compliance with budgetary, scheduling, and safety goals. Located in our Juno Beach, FL office, the role combines technical, construction, commercial, and financial responsibilities, offering significant opportunities for career growth within project management.
The incumbent supports construction work performed by contractors and vendors, acting as a key interface between the project team, landowners, local regulators, and state agencies. This is an in-office position designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, high-stress environments and possess the ability to work independently under limited direction.
You will take ownership of assigned Solar projects, working collaboratively with the Regional Lead to manage them through the Early-Stage process in preparation for turnover to the Construction team. Your day involves assessing productivity, schedule compliance, work quality, and safety performance through active walkdowns of planned work.
Key activities include validating acceptance of completed work against design requirements, reviewing contractor payment requests, and verifying constructability. You will analyze technical and financial data to identify trends, support the creation and management of capital budgets, and investigate optimization opportunities to improve project performance. Additionally, you will prepare and assist in hosting pre-bid and pre-construction meetings while providing ongoing status updates to internal stakeholders and Executive Leadership.
Safety and procedure compliance are central to our operations. You will reinforce expectations related to safety, lessons learned, corrective actions, and appropriate work behaviors for both employees and contractor staff. The role requires coordinating activities across safety programs, engineering, construction, budgeting, analytics, and contract administration to ensure a unified approach to project execution.

PMP Certification. Experience in the construction, renewable energy, or Solar industry. Mechanical awareness and/or interest in technical variables. Strong interest in long-term career growth within Project Management. Experience using project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
