About the Role
The Project Assistant serves as a vital support pillar for the project management team, facilitating the development and execution of project plans from inception to completion. This role is designed to keep all moving parts of a project synchronized and moving forward, ensuring seamless coordination between the project team, senior estimators, and external stakeholders.
In this position, you will work closely with the senior estimator to manage quotes, shadowing them at job sites to learn the estimation process, and assisting with notes, measurements, and photography. Your day-to-day involves maintaining project schedules, sourcing materials and equipment, and ensuring on-time delivery. You will also play a key role in vendor management by evaluating subcontractors for safety compliance and performance, researching new potential vendors, and following up with clients on pending quotes.
