Project Accountant

About the Role

As a Project Accountant, you will serve as the financial backbone for our construction projects, ensuring integrity from the initial start to the final closeout. You will manage the critical flow of financial administration, focusing on subcontractor invoicing, vendor payments, and owner billing (AIA). Your work ensures that all financial documents are processed accurately, compliantly, and on time, utilizing tools like Vista Viewpoint, GC Pay, and Procore to maintain rigorous cost tracking.

Day in the Life

Your typical day begins by addressing outstanding emails and diving into the preparation of monthly reports for ownership. Later, you will collaborate with the CFO to review finance department metrics, analyzing performance against benchmarks and discussing quarterly goals. The day concludes with a team meeting to address specific issues that arose, ensuring that all discussed goals remain clear and on track within established timeframes.
