Mentor Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For over 50 years, our mission has been to help people live full, independent lives regardless of the challenges they face. Today, our 40,000 team members continue to innovate and enhance care for 50,000 individuals across the U.S. We believe every person has the right to live well, and everyone deserves a fulfilling career. You will join a mission-driven team where creating meaningful relationships motivates us all every day.
As a Program Supervisor, you will lead a single program or unit, typically supporting 4-8 individuals in residential settings or 10-15 in vocational or day programs. This role is a unique blend of leadership and hands-on care. You will supervise Direct Support Professionals while also working regular shifts as a direct support provider, ensuring you remain connected to the daily realities of the individuals we serve.
Your day will involve overseeing the delivery of supports, implementing person-centered plans, and managing health care and regulatory compliance. You will act as a bridge between the individuals served, their families, and the broader community, ensuring a safe, clean, and nurturing environment. Whether you are managing staff schedules, assisting with medication administration, or leading team meetings, your work directly impacts the quality of life for those in your care.
We are looking for dedicated individuals ready to experience a career well lived. To apply, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your interest in our mission. Our interview process typically includes an initial screening to discuss your background and experience, followed by a conversation with the Program Director to explore your fit within the team. We are committed to finding the right people to join our family.
