This position serves as a vital administrative hub within the School of Medicine's Office of Continuing Medical Education (CME). The role is designed to oversee procedural matters for CME programs while providing essential support to senior department personnel. The primary focus is on the planning, coordination, and execution of Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS) activities, ensuring that all educational offerings align with the university's mission and community needs.
In this capacity, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of CME activities. Your day-to-day involves preparing Education Plans, maintaining the CME Tracker database, and ensuring the accuracy of attendance data through monitoring call-in systems. You will act as the main point of contact for coordinators, handling inquiries via CME RSS mailboxes and facilitating the financial relationship disclosure process to maintain compliance. Additionally, the role requires coordinating annual attendee surveys, performing activity analysis, and entering data into the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) PARS Reporting System.
The position offers the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of CME services by collecting feedback from members, volunteers, and staff. By maintaining comprehensive electronic records and troubleshooting database issues, you will help ensure the integrity and efficiency of the department's educational programs.
