This position plays a critical role in supporting program execution, invoicing, and compliance in close collaboration with Program Management, the Mission Partner, and other internal stakeholders. As a Program Cost Control Analyst, you will establish and maintain cost control systems, perform comprehensive financial analyses, and ensure contracts remain within negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines.
You will work within a hybrid schedule based in Syracuse, NY, setting up cost control systems and monitoring costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control systems. Your day-to-day involves assisting in preparing budgets and schedules, performing financial analyses such as funding profiles and variance analysis, and conducting risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks. You will monitor costs and manpower weekly to ensure actuals are within budget and charged to the correct job number, while ensuring adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley, and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
