About the Role
Synchron is seeking a Program Analyst to support the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations (DCNO) for Fleet Readiness and Logistics (OPNAV N4). This role is pivotal in advancing the mission of developing plans and providing essential logistics and readiness support to both operating forces and the shore establishment.
In this position, you will serve as a strategic partner, ensuring that Naval Logistics strategies align seamlessly with Joint and Naval concepts. You will strengthen linkages across the Joint and Naval logistics enterprises and ensure logistics elements are integrated into all relevant pillar efforts, including operational wargames. Your work will involve conducting iterative logistics-centric games, documenting findings to identify gaps, and building focused studies and analysis plans in coordination with the Navy Analytics Office.
You will also assist in developing a dedicated logistics Science and Technology (S&T) strategy, fostering relationships with stakeholders to create agile solutions for emerging naval capability needs. Additionally, you will help identify areas for Fleet and warfare centers to conduct experiments and demonstrations within exercises to test hypotheses regarding potential logistics solutions. A key part of your day will involve facilitating the development of a unified logistics investment opportunity portfolio across resource sponsors and supporting teams aligned with the five maritime sustainment vectors: Refuel, Rearm, Resupply, Repair, and Revive.
Location and Requirements
This position is based in Arlington, VA, and may require occasional travel. Candidates must hold an active secret security clearance.
