About the Opportunity

Genesis10 is partnering with a major insurance company in Fort Worth, TX, to find a Senior GRC Analyst for a hybrid, 6+ month contract-to-hire role. This position sits within the IT Security function, where the incumbent will independently advance the organization's governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) program. The role is designed for an experienced individual contributor who can drive risk assessments, oversee controls, and support regulatory and customer assurance requirements.

About the Role

In this capacity, you will serve as a key partner to Information Security leadership, IT, Legal, and business stakeholders. Your day-to-day involves assessing and documenting security risks across systems and applications, maintaining the governance framework, and ensuring the design and operating effectiveness of security controls. You will play a critical part in supporting internal and external audits, including SOC 2 Type 2 assurance activities, and will be responsible for coordinating evidence, managing remediation tracking, and driving corrective actions for control deficiencies.

The ideal candidate will help mature the organization's security posture by addressing risks, managing vulnerabilities, and improving overall security processes. This role requires strong communication skills to translate technical security concepts for non-technical audiences and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority. You will also contribute to security awareness training and the development of a centralized security knowledge base to streamline due diligence responses.
