The Compliance & Regulatory Affairs Administrator serves as a strategic partner to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), providing operational oversight of all regulatory compliance activities. This role is critical to ensuring the hospital adheres to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies.
In this position, you will monitor changes in regulatory requirements and coordinate the implementation of new mandates. You will oversee regulatory readiness initiatives and compliance risk assessment strategies. A key part of your day-to-day involves supervising the Compliance Program Manager and Policy Compliance Manager, guiding them in internal audits, mock surveys, and the management of the hospital's policy system to ensure all documents are current and compliant.
You will act as a primary liaison between hospital leadership, clinical departments, and regulatory agencies. In the absence of the CCO, you will serve as the main point of contact for surveyors. Your work fosters a culture of safety, accountability, and ethics across the organization, ensuring that regulatory requirements are met at all times and that the hospital remains survey-ready.
