About the Role

As a Wag Groomer, you will join our professionally behind-the-scenes squad in an educational salon that offers everything from basic nail trims and baths to full-service hair cutting and luxury spa services like Lemon & Sea Salt Baths, Fur Masks, and Temporary Pet Tattoos. This is not a desk job; you will stay active while caring for a diverse range of animals, from cuddly mastiffs to spunky chihuahuas and playful kittens.

You will be responsible for completing bathing services, including baths, brush-outs, de-matting, drying, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and anal gland expression. Additionally, you will cut and style fur and ensure the bathing salon remains clean and organized. As the front line of our business, your strong communication skills and attention to detail are vital to ensuring customer care and satisfaction.

We encourage our groomers to explore new concepts and trends in the industry. You will work in a fun learning environment that requires a positive attitude and open communication. An ideal candidate is a genuine dog lover who is comfortable handling all breeds, sizes, and coat conditions.

We offer a competitive earning potential with a production bonus structure: 60% on grooming services and 30% on paid bathing services, plus tips. You will never be paid less than an hourly wage for all hours worked. Full-time employees are eligible for generous benefits, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401k plan, paid vacation time, and sick time. We also provide a grooming tool kit and a monthly tool reimbursement.
