At Tyson Foods, we believe that our team members are the heart of our success. In the Prepared Foods Division, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality products while fostering a dynamic environment where individuals can make a significant impact.
As a Production Supervisor on the 2nd Shift, you will be the driving force behind maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. This role is essential for controlling the production process, managing accurate record keeping, and overseeing general line maintenance and staffing.
Your day-to-day involves building and leading the best team possible. You will guide the team through pre-shift stretches, rotate workstations, and provide counseling on personal and professional matters. You will also ensure all workstations are staffed before production starts, verify that machinery is performing correctly, and confirm that all stations have passed USDA inspection. Beyond operations, you will promote safety through daily actions and monthly meetings, oversee various processing operations, and collaborate with other supervisors to solve problems.
Hourly applicants must complete a specific task after submitting their application to provide additional information to be considered for employment. Certain roles at Tyson require background checks; if offered a position requiring one, you will be provided with additional documentation to complete after the offer is extended.
Tyson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, national origin, color, religion, age, genetics, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or veteran status.
