The Production Manager serves as a vital member of the management leadership team at our Ravenna, OH facility, providing direction to the manufacturing operations within the corrugator department. This role is designed to ensure efficiency is maintained and projects remain on schedule while overseeing plant production, materials, equipment, and tools.
In this position, you will manage the day-to-day activities of the facility, balancing safety policies, personnel, housekeeping, maintenance, and production activities against customer requirements. You will act as a coach to team members, assisting in the development and evaluation of direct reports. Your impact will be felt through the coordination of plant activities to accomplish manufacturing objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will review customer specifications to identify improvement opportunities, manage P&L and operating efficiencies to improve profitability, and monitor waste management to reduce environmental impacts. As a change agent, you will lead the deployment of lean processes with a sense of urgency to support continuous improvement and employee job satisfaction.
