About the Role
As a Production Manager, you will serve as a strategic leader and mentor for our Cheswick, PA facility. This role exists to bridge the gap between the company's strategic vision and daily operational execution. You will lead, coach, and supervise a team of approximately 30 employees, including production and transportation supervisors. Your day-to-day involves fostering a "whatever it takes" attitude to maximize business results while ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality production environment.
You will be responsible for setting production goals, monitoring performance, and managing workflows to ensure on-time delivery. Beyond operational oversight, you will drive a culture of safety compliance with OSHA standards, oversee employee training and development, and implement cost-control processes to optimize resource utilization. This position requires a change agent who can lead initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain rigorous quality standards.
