About the Role
Knock Out Energy, LLC is seeking a Production Flowback Operator to support operations in Midland, TX, and surrounding remote lease locations. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of well flowback processes. The operator serves as the eyes and ears on the ground, responsible for the accurate collection and reporting of well data on an hourly basis. Beyond data collection, the position requires a deep ability to interpret this information to identify signs of well variance and ensure safe, continuous operations.
Day in the Life
You will work independently under minimal supervision, often in remote field settings. Your day involves a hands-on approach to equipment management, including the ongoing dumping of sand from separators and the removal and cleaning of sand filter screens. You will be expected to troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance on surface pressure control and separation equipment, such as pressure control manifolds, multi-phase separators, and flare systems.
Safety is paramount in this environment. You will be responsible for identifying hazards, reading and interpreting safety rules and operating manuals, and executing established evacuation plans. The role demands adaptability to unique field conditions, including working in wet, cold, or humid weather, near moving mechanical parts, and in areas with potential fumes or airborne particles. Whether working during the day or night, you must maintain a clean, organized work area while managing the physical demands of the job, which include lifting, climbing, and repetitive movements.
Hiring Process
Candidates must be prepared to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen as well as a Motor Vehicle Record check. The role requires a candidate who can apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and is adaptable to long, irregular hours and changing work locations.
