The Production Control Specialist serves as a critical link between Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality departments. In this role, you will plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of materials from procurement through final assembly, ensuring the on-time delivery of high-quality aerospace components. This position requires a deep understanding of production processes, inventory control, and a steadfast commitment to maintaining compliance with stringent aerospace industry standards.
You will work a 5/40 work week on the first shift, with some flexibility regarding start times. Your day-to-day involves developing production schedules based on customer orders and forecasts, monitoring work-in-progress and finished goods inventory, and expediting materials to meet deadlines. You will analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, collaborate with Procurement and Manufacturing to optimize flow, and maintain accurate records within the Oracle MRP/ERP system. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with AS9100 quality standards and FAA regulations while investigating and resolving material shortages and routing issues.
