About the Role
As a Production Planning and Scheduling Manager, you will join our dynamic environment to optimize production processes and enhance manufacturing efficiency. This role exists to ensure that production targets and deadlines align seamlessly with our company goals. You will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and adjusting production schedules based on product demand, resource availability, and capacity. Your day will involve close collaboration with department heads to forecast demand, managing inventory levels to balance material availability with overstock risks, and working with procurement to source materials and manage supplier relationships.
In this position, you will lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment. You will analyze production specifications and plant capacity data to determine necessary manufacturing processes and tools, while implementing and monitoring compliance with manufacturing policies and quality standards. Your ability to report on production progress and adjust schedules to handle unexpected delays will be crucial to our operations.
