Year Up United is an intensive, one-year or less job training program designed to empower young adults through in-classroom skill development, access to internships, and personalized coaching. We guide participants through four unique career pathways, providing the mentorship and resources needed to launch successful professional careers.
If you are passionate about building relationships or possess an entrepreneurial mindset and wish to gain exposure to running a business, the Customer Experience pathway is designed for you. This track combines technical and professional training in Banking or Customer Success with direct access to internships and job placement support through our industry-leading talent placement firm, YUPRO Placement.
Internships may be secured at leading organizations such as JPMorganChase or Bank of America within the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The program focuses on developing a customer-centric mindset, comprehensive finance training, and essential business communication skills. Graduates are equipped with the ability to navigate career growth paths including financial advisory, sales specialist roles, product support, sales operations, and patient services.
Year Up United is committed to measurable success. Seventy-two percent of our graduates are employed or enrolled in postsecondary education within four months of graduation. Those who enter the workforce earn an average starting salary of $53,000 per year. During the internship phase, students receive an educational stipend of $525 per week to support their journey.
To apply, candidates must be high school graduates or GED recipients, eligible to work in the U.S., and available Monday through Friday for the duration of the program. Applicants should be highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills and must not have obtained a Bachelor's degree. Additional screening questions may be required during the application process.
