The Product Support Operations Manager serves as the operational backbone of our service area, ensuring that every task aligns with our department's strategic goals. This position is pivotal in bridging the gap between technical execution and business objectives, directly contributing to the success of both the parts and warranty departments. You will be responsible for establishing production goals, supervising service employees, and fostering an environment where high-quality workmanship and efficiency thrive within a repair and service shop.
In this role, you will not only manage the physical requirements of the workspace—including facilities, tools, and environmental conditions—but also act as a steward of our company's core values. You will model our Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools daily, promoting a culture of Legendary Customer Service (LCS) while ensuring that safety, compliance, and operational excellence remain at the forefront of every activity.
Your day will be a dynamic mix of strategic planning and hands-on leadership. You will oversee the hiring, development, and evaluation of service personnel, ensuring the team is equipped with the technical skills needed to handle complex machinery, from construction equipment to aerial and lifting devices. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to managing the parts department, analyzing inventory levels, and coordinating with vendors to secure bulk pricing and timely shipments.
You will also be deeply involved in the operational flow of the shop, from assigning work and enforcing safety policies to maintaining the company's fleet and facilities. Whether you are training counter and shop sales personnel on technical aspects of crane attachments or conducting quality control analysis on service reports, your focus will remain on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a hazard-free environment.
We are committed to a workplace where alignment with our mission and core business values is demonstrated daily. As a leader here, you will collaborate with key internal and external resources, participate in ongoing self-development, and champion a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. We believe that our people are our greatest asset, and we strive to create an environment where safety, integrity, and operational excellence go hand in hand.
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a comprehensive interview process designed to assess both technical expertise and cultural fit. This typically includes an initial screening to verify qualifications, followed by in-depth discussions regarding your experience in dealership management and technical operations. Final candidates may engage in scenario-based interviews to demonstrate problem-solving skills and leadership capabilities.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all employees.
