The Product Support Inspection Specialist is a field-based, regionally located role designed to represent the product support sales team within a defined geographic territory. This position serves as a critical technical bridge between HOLT CAT and its customers, focusing on optimizing machine efficiency and preventing downtime through thorough inspections and data analysis.
You will work directly alongside Major Account Representatives, Product Support Sales Representatives, and Inside Sales Representatives to strategically grow the product support business. Your day-to-day involves conducting special projects, analyzing opportunities, and providing recommendations that support HOLT parts and service teams. As a technical expert at customer sites, you will foster the adoption of the complete HOLT and CAT product offerings while ensuring alignment with the company's vision and core business values.
In this role, you are expected to model HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes daily. Success requires a commitment to ongoing self-development, collaboration with key internal and external resources, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. We value accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and peers to influence and persuade.
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving record, as this role requires up to 75% travel and the ability to drive a company vehicle. The position involves significant physical activity, including working outdoors in various weather conditions, maneuvering under equipment, and lifting materials up to 70 lbs. Applicants should be prepared to work in environments with loud noise, moving mechanical parts, and exposure to chemicals or dust.
