About the Role
We are seeking a Product Specialist to join our Rexel USA team in Capitol Heights, MD. This role is designed to empower our Outside Sales team by driving growth and promoting our product portfolio to potential customers. The core mission of the Product Specialist is to bridge the gap between complex product capabilities and customer needs, ensuring that every interaction builds strong, lasting relationships.
In this position, you will serve as a trusted advisor, identifying customer requirements and recommending the most suitable solutions. Your day-to-day involves deepening your understanding of our products' features and competitive advantages while staying ahead of industry trends. You will actively pursue sales opportunities through various channels, conduct compelling product demonstrations, and present value propositions to diverse audiences ranging from technical teams to executive leadership.
Beyond direct sales support, you will play a key role in developing annual business plans based on market conditions and fostering strong relationships with key suppliers. You will also be instrumental in training branches and customers, providing technical support, and participating in seminars to continuously enhance your expertise. This role requires a collaborative spirit, as you will work closely with local technical, sales, and management teams to execute strategic goals.
