Global payments are not broken; incentives are. In balance sheet-driven institutions, clearing has been deprioritized in favor of lending and interest. When liquidity takes priority over settlement, payments slow and certainty drops. These same institutions are forced into fragmented setups, inconsistent rails, and unpredictable timelines. While stablecoin shortcuts and treasury pooling treat symptoms at the surface, almost no one is rebuilding the underlying infrastructure in each market.
We are rebuilding clearing as its own specialist function. We act as a clearing and transaction banking partner for regulated institutions, with treasury built into the core so liquidity, settlement, and reconciliation sit in one controlled system. Our platform unifies global and local licenses, direct central bank clearing, and domestic rails. We allow clients to open named customer accounts in every market we operate, collecting funds and paying out through a single network while retaining full ownership of their customer relationships. Market expansion becomes as simple as one correspondent relationship, not hundreds.
Joining Lorum means contributing to one of the most ambitious clearing infrastructure projects in global finance. You will help shape settlement systems that perform under real regulatory standards and institutional volumes. You will build for regulated institutions that rely on precision, predictable timelines, and regulatory integrity. It is about working across currencies, markets, and supervisory frameworks to deliver reliable, final settlement.
As a Product Lead for Cash Management, you aren't just managing a backlog—you are owning a business line. You will be responsible for the strategic vision, commercial P&L, and operational integrity of our cash management suite. You will bridge the gap between complex US banking regulations, treasury operations, and scalable technology. You don't wait for permission from engineering; you define the "What" and the "Why," ensuring our infrastructure is a competitive moat, not just a utility.
Cash Management is not just a feature set; it is an integral product line for financial institutions leveraging Lorum's infrastructure. By unifying liquidity with our custody and clearing products, our Cash Management suite empowers clients to manage their global balances actively. You'll be building a treasury trading and management platform from the ground up, allowing customers to efficiently buy FX at wholesale spot rates, hedge currency risk directly with FX derivatives, and actively earn interest on their managed funds through exposure to traditional and tokenized fixed-income assets.
We value high-agency leadership and decisive prioritization. Successful execution hinges on a high-octane partnership with Engineering, where you will work with the Engineering Lead to maintain a ruthless focus on the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that achieves the business objective. We look for candidates who can challenge engineering on technical debt versus speed to market and hold stakeholders accountable for delivery.
Lorum is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, ensuring our platform reflects the global markets we serve.

Treasury professional background with experience in treasury hedging and interest-bearing assets in a broker/dealer. Experience scaling a product from 0 to 100 in a high-growth environment. Existing relationships with FX and fixed income liquidity partners. Understanding of stablecoins, CBDCs, tokenized deposits, and their application in optimizing commercial liquidity management.
Lorum operates within the financial services industry, headquartered in New York, to address systemic inefficiencies in global payment clearing. The company identifies that traditional clearing mechanisms often suffer from misaligned incentives when subordinated to the lending and yield priorities of banking institutions. This structural conflict frequently results in slower settlement times, reduced certainty, fragmented operational setups, and unpredictable compliance timelines for the very institutions that provide these services.
To resolve these challenges, Lorum reconstructs clearing as a dedicated specialist function rather than a secondary activity. Serving as a multi-currency clearing infrastructure partner for regulated financial entities, the firm integrates treasury capabilities directly into its core systems. This approach ensures that liquidity management, settlement processes, and reconciliation activities occur within a single, controlled environment.
The platform unifies global and local licensing requirements, direct connectivity to central banks, and domestic payment rails through a single application programming interface. Clients utilizing this infrastructure can open named customer accounts across supported markets and execute collections and payouts through one unified network. This architecture allows institutions to maintain full ownership of their customer relationships while benefiting from standardized, efficient settlement rails.
