Meet The Team

Join Cisco's Process & Automation group and revolutionize optics manufacturing! We're seeking a dynamic Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and optimize our automated optics assembly processes. You'll be instrumental in establishing robust, repeatable process capability, expanding production capacity through scalable solutions, and ensuring exceptional quality that consistently surpasses product and process standards. Your expertise will directly accelerate new product introduction (NPI) success, drive production efficiency, and uphold our unwavering commitment to excellence in optics manufacturing.

You will lead and program manage the development and release to manufacturing of creative silicon photonic components. As the NPPM, you will handle the product lifecycle from pre-concept commit to First Production Shipment (FPS) of these components. You will partner with Silicon Photonics Business Units, Product Line Management, and Engineering teams to lead a cross-functional team from Cisco Silicon Photonics Operations to deliver wafer-level and component-level silicon photonic devices.
