Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleSupport Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain with technical expertise and project management for new materials and applications
  • check_circleRecommend packaging structures that balance technical performance, manufacturability, cost, and business requirements
  • check_circleBuild and maintain Bills of Materials and routings in the ERP system including structure setup and documentation upkeep
  • check_circleLead cross-functional teams through the product development process to deliver customer-ready outcomes
  • check_circlePlan, execute, and document trial work per the Quality System including material qualification and production-line support
  • check_circleTrain others on flexible packaging and lab techniques while maintaining databases and reviewing industry periodicals
  • check_circlePerform material and package testing, analyze results, and recommend continuous improvement actions
  • check_circleProvide direct customer technical support including attending filling trials and generating pouch designs and prototypes
  • check_circleEngage in ESG programs to deliver sustainable solutions through waste and carbon reduction projects and reporting

Requirements

  • verifiedBachelor of Science in Packaging, Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial), or related technical field preferred
  • verifiedAssociate's degree and experience in flexible packaging production, quality control production, or related field will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
  • verifiedExperience with standard test methods and regulations (ASTM, GMPs, OTC, and FDA, etc.) is preferred
