About the Role
As a Product Design Lead at the Manager level, you will combine craft expertise and leadership skills with a deep understanding of our customers and the business to co-create innovative solutions to complex problems and influence product strategy. You will lead design projects, directing and delegating work for junior team members while building strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders. Your mission is to mentor others and help mature the overall product design practice at Capital One, ensuring the team remains focused on customer-centered solutions and inclusive design.
In this role, you will navigate the needs of partners and stakeholders by leveraging critical-thinking skills that factor in data, research insights, scalability, and technical constraints. You will present work across levels and job functions using a human-centered approach, integrating design frameworks and data to articulate a compelling point of view that influences strategic decision-making at senior levels.
