About the Role
This position serves as the face of our brand within retail environments, focusing on engaging shoppers through interactive food and non-food demonstrations. The Associate is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere where consumers can experience products firsthand, effectively communicating features and benefits to drive interest and sales.
The role involves a dynamic day-to-day rhythm of preparing demonstration stations, safely handling small appliances like microwaves and fryers, and managing the setup and breakdown of event tables. Success in this position requires a proactive approach to intercepting and interacting with customers while maintaining a sterile, safe, and professional workspace.
Work Environment & Schedule
This is a part-time role based in a retail store environment with limited travel. The position is designed for approximately 25 hours per week, though hours may fluctuate based on business and client needs. Associates must be prepared to stand and walk throughout their shift, navigate various physical tasks including lifting and reaching, and adhere to specific grooming and dress code standards to ensure a polished brand presence.
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates should possess a High School diploma or GED, or have one to three months of related experience. Proficiency with personal computers, mobile devices, and internal electronic systems is required, including the ability to navigate company applications and submit daily reports. A local Food Handlers permit may be necessary depending on the location. Bilingual skills are a plus and may be required based on business necessity.
